estimators, architects, designers, project managers, job superintendents and support staffs.
PREPARING FOR SUCCESS
The most successful Design-Build projects begin with establishing a development team which
may include:
- The CLIENT or Client's representative.
- The DESIGNERS, including pre-construction evaluators, entitlement facilitators, architects,
engineers and systems consultants.
- The BUILDER, including the estimators, project managers, construction evaluators, and the
quality assurance inspectors.
This team guides the project from conception to completion through the various
aspects of evaluation, design, approval, construction, and occupancy with efficient attention
to the details REQUIRED in the building arena.
From its inception, a project is evaluated by the design and construction teams
working closely with the client to set the parameters for the desired result. The
architectural/construction team, in conjunction with the client, investigates, evaluates, and
implements the appropriate entitlements, design guidelines, and the construction budget and schedule.
With these elements completed, the team can focus on the process throughout each phase to ensure that
upon completion, the project is delivered On Time, On Budget, On Quality, with
Zero Defects.
