- Bid instructions
- Bid documents (after first plan check submittal)
- Project specifications
- A detailed scope of work for key trades
- Phasing plans
- Preliminary construction schedules
- Requests for alternates
- A bid form and any client requested unit breakouts
2. The coordinator pre-qualifies subcontractors depending on type and size of project
3. Forward multiple requests for bids in all trades with the use of on online construction estimating bid service
4. Solicit local subcontractors to participate in the bid process
5. Request subcontractor bids two to three days prior to contractor bid due date to allow contractor to properly qualify sub bids and qualifications
6. Make follow up calls on key subcontractors and low bidders to discuss project scope and value engineering ideas
